HOW TO BID

If you have an Auction catalogue you can use the bid form which is in the catalogue.

If you would like to bid via email this is OK. You will need to send us your
- Name, Full Address including Postcode, Telephone Number (in case of query)
- Then for each lot number - the Country, year, SG No. or short description (as a check) - your top bid.

COLLECTORS FROM OVERSEAS MAY BID BUT SEE BELOW BEFORE BIDDING.

Please note that our catalogue displays RESERVES and not ESTIMATES. Bids below RESERVE will not be entered.

Bidders new to us will be sent a pro-forma invoice and lots will be forwarded on receipt of a cheque for the appropriate amount.
Postage and Packing are charged at cost. This is a club auction and there is no VAT or Buyers Premium levied.
Postal bids are treated in the same way as room bids - and every effort will be made to buy lots at the minimum price to you. We never use your top bid as the opening bid to the room unless your top bid is one bid step higher than the second highest bid.

OVERSEAS BIDDERS

Do not bid for bulky lots as postage cost could be excessive. If you are an overseas bidder, remember that you may have to pay import taxes.
We will send an invoice and post the lots after the invoice is paid.
Payment must be by a cheque drawn in Sterling on an British bank account or in £ Sterling notes, US $ notes or Euro notes. We can not cash cheques drawn on Foreign bank accounts as the charges are too high.
